TELEMUNDO MEDIA LAUNCHES NATIONAL CASTING CALL FOR ITS NEW TALENT COMPETITION SHOW “YO ME LLAMO” (“MY NAME IS”)
MIAMI- July 5, 2012- Telemundo Media launched today its first national casting call for the runaway international TV hit “Yo Me Llamo” across five top Hispanic markets from July 7 to the 23rd. “Yo Me Llamo” is a talent competition show that goes beyond the traditional formats by asking contestants not only to show exceptional musical talent, but to also demonstrate their ability to convey the personalities, style and even the charisma of their most admired artists. The international success of “Yo Me Llamo” across 47 countries has established the show as one of the most successful international reality shows. Interested contestants who cannot attend the local castings can participate online by filling the application form at http://www.yomellamocasting.com and uploading a video between one and three minutes singing the song of a famous artist. “Yo Me Llamo” is scheduled to air in Telemundo during the third quarter.
Castings will take place the following dates and places:

To participate in the first national castings of “Yo Me Llamo,” candidates must bring a driver’s license or a photo ID and be ready to sing a song by a famous artist.
