Jenny Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C Reaches Highest Audience Ever
Universal City, CA – September 17, 2010 – mun2, the preeminent voice for bicultural (YLAs) Young Latinos Americans, today announced that mun2 reached its largest Monday through Wednesday primetime audience in the history of the network during third week of September, with 116,000 total viewers (Persons 2+). Among young viewers, mun2 delivered an average audience of 63,000 Adults 18-34, out-performing Galavisión in the demographic (51,000) by +24% during the entire three-night average.
With a solid Wednesday night, mun2 reached 185,000 total viewers (Persons 2+), a significant +54% lead over Galavisión. The network was the Hispanic cable leader on NHI on Wednesday night across all other key demographics, delivering an average of 130,000 Adults 18-49, 87,000 Adults 18-34 and 102,000 Persons 12-34. The network is delivering an advantage of +71% among Adults 18-49, +118% among Adults 18-34, and +100% among Persons 12-34 over Galavisión, proving mun2’s language agnostic strategy is right on track.
mun2 also delivered larger audiences than Galavisión in other key demographics for the entire Monday through Wednesday 7pm-11pm primetime block, including a +20% advantage among Men 18-34 (36,000 vs. 30,000), +29% more viewers among Women 18-34 (27,000 vs. 21,000), and a +24% advantage among Persons 12-34 (72,000 vs. 58,000).

The show recently made history, delivering its largest audience since its premiere during You're On Weekends block, averaging 78,000 viewers among Adults 18-34, 100,000 viewers among Persons 12-34 and 98,000 viewers among Adults 18-49.
Chiquis & Raq-C out-performed music and lifestyle channels BET, MTV2, Tr3s, VH1 and Fuse on Saturday afternoon among Hispanics, making it one of the most watched programs during its Saturday afternoon time period. The show also out-delivered key Spanish-Language cable networks Discovery en Español, ESPN Deportes and GOL TV among Hispanics.
